Currently in development, this prominnent Jewish Community Centreserves as a vital hub for culture, wellness, and community life. The centre is a multi-functional space designed to foster connection across generations and backgrounds. Our work focused on the design and programming of the central atrium and its café at the heart of the centre.

Rooted in the symbolism of the Tree of Life, the design embraces themes of vitality, interconnectedness, and regrowth. The café is envisioned as a social anchor: warm, inclusive, and nourishing in every sense. A key design challenge was creating a gathering space that could serve the Centre’s diverse user group, including gymgoers, students, professionals, members of the Jewish community, and the broader local population.

Through a holistic approach that combines strategy, design, and identity, we’ve helped shape a space that reflects and strengthens the values of the community it serves, one that supports both everyday use and long-term growth.
