The National Club

Tucked within a historic 1907 building downtown Toronto, the National Club sought a refined, atmospheric wine cellar and discreet speakeasy entrance to complement its exclusive experience for its private members. Our design draws from the building’s heritage architecture, celebrating its enduring character while layering in luxurious details.

Inspired by the deep, velvety reds of fine wine and the building’s early 20th-century detailing, we created an immersive experience rooted in elegance and restraint. Bold thresholds, aged brass accents, and moody lighting evoke a sense of discovery, while rich textures and bespoke millwork lend warmth and sophistication.
